About this Edition
Since its founding in 1968, Art Brussels has reinforced its leading position in the European contemporary art scene. As a globally recognised art centre, Brussels transforms every year into an epicentre for the global art community, attracting established and emerging artists, professionals, and private collectors. For its 43rd edition, Art Brussels is expected to welcome over 26,000 visitors at Brussels Expo between 15 and 18 April 2027.
Art Brussels continues to attract returning visitors and galleries. In 2027, more than 800 artists, 135 galleries, and 60 museums will offer an unrivalled experience, presenting a mix of art displays, innovative exhibitions, and exceptional experiences to all attendees. The fair overview will encompass four well-established sectors and one introduced the previous year:
- Discovery: focuses on rising talents and their recent works;
- Prime: displays works spanning modern and contemporary art;
- Solo: showcases independent artists and their artwork in the entire stand;
- 68 Forward: dedicated to artists’ works and practices dating from 1968 up to 2000;
- Horizons: presents monumental works in scenographic installations, thus creating a museum-like experience for visitors.
