About this Edition
Once every three years, INDEX trade fair connected the global nonwoven community in Geneva at a critical industry summit in Europe. From 21st to 24th April 2026, over 9,000 international visitors from 100 countries gathered at the halls of Palexpo to discover leading innovations, novice designers, and thought-leaders setting the dominating trends in the sector.
Representatives from a wide range of nonwoven-related industries attended INDEX 2026, including automotive, filtration, packaging, building, civil engineering, hygiene, and medical sectors. Numerous Exhibitor Product Presentations displayed the latest innovations from the global nonwoven industry. The showcase was supplemented with a comprehensive ancillary programme that opened up excellent networking opportunities for businesses aiming to get ahead of the competition.
One of the highlights of the INDEX 2026 ancillary programme was the INDEX Seminars, which offered a valuable synthesis of the latest innovations shaping the market’s future. Being the largest nonwoven exhibition, INDEX covered everything from nonwoven machinery, adhesives, binders, chemicals, and composites to surface treatments and waste-handling equipment. During the four days of the expo, students, researchers, and CEOs met, presented, and searched for solutions in R&D and sustainable application and production of nonwovens.
