About this Edition

The Internationale Grüne Woche Berlin 2026 took place in Berlin, marking a significant milestone as the event celebrated its centenary. From 16 to 25 January, Messe Berlin was the hub for the international trade fair focusing on food, agriculture, and horticulture.

Throughout the show, attendees experienced a rich tapestry of products and innovations segmented into four primary areas: Agriculture and Forestry, Food Industry, Garden, and House and Yard. Each section provided a unique look at the industry, complete with tastings, live demonstrations, and interactive attractions. The 'Green up your life' area, for instance, delved into sustainability and climate protection, while the 'young generation hub' offered valuable career guidance.

Alongside the main showcase, a series of professional events took place. The Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) kicked off proceedings with discussions centered around the theme 'Water. Harvest. Our future'. The 'Fuels of the Future' conference followed, focusing on renewable energy, and the Future Forum on Rural Development explored the theme 'Land: Space for the Future'. The event also featured the horse show Hippologica and the innovative Startup-Days.
