About this Edition
LAMIERA, the leading international expo for the sheet metal industry, adjusted its schedule in 2022 due to the unforeseen circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Typically held in odd-numbered years, the event took place from 25 to 28 May 2022 at Fiera Milano. Over 25,000 visitors gathered to explore the offerings of more than 500 companies during four days of business and innovation.
Throughout the show, attendees experienced the latest in sheet-metal forming machine tools and associated technologies. Innovation Areas such as Robot Planet, Saldatech, Fabbricafutura, Fastener Industry, and EcoCoatech allowed participants to witness the industry's future in motion. Professionals from all Italian regions and over 70 foreign countries connected on the show floor, fostering international collaboration.
During the event, the LAMIALAMIERA initiative provided a platform for in-depth thematic analysis of the industry. This program featured conferences addressing specific issues and side events that facilitated discussions among opinion leaders and experts.
