About this Edition
The 35th edition of Salon de Gourmets, held from 25 to 28 April 2022, showcased Europe's leading fine food and beverage offerings. Hosted in Madrid, Spain, the event gathered more than 1500 brands and attracted over 75,000 professionals from the catering, hotel, and restaurant sectors, among others.
Throughout the show, nearly 40,000 products were on display, including around 1500 exclusive premieres. The interactive nature of the event was evident in a variety of activities such as show cooking, sampling sessions, wine tastings, and gourmet round tables. Noteworthy competitions like the Gourmet Cheese Awards, the Burger Combat Spanish Hamburger Championship, and the Sommeliers Spanish Championship engaged participants and showcased industry excellence.
During the event, innovations were celebrated with the Innovation Award, while skills were tested in contests like the Beer-Pouring Contest Madrid Competition. The Wine Tunnel offered an immersive experience, allowing attendees to explore a vast selection of wines in a unique setting.
