About this Edition
The 29th edition of SIMEI, held in Milan, concluded its run from 15 to 18 November 2022. This biennial event, with a legacy spanning over five decades, has become a pivotal gathering for the winemaking industry and related sectors. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which necessitated a postponement, SIMEI 2022 successfully hosted attendees in halls 1 – 4 of Fiera Milano.
Throughout the show, over 30,000 operators from 90 countries converged to explore the full spectrum of wine production and supply chain technologies. The event's scope extended to machinery and equipment for other beverages like oil, beer, and spirits, broadening its international appeal. During the event, participants had the opportunity to build lasting partnerships and engage in meaningful exchanges across borders.
SIMEI offered more than a business platform; it was an educational and networking nexus. An extensive programme of expert-led conferences, workshops, competitions, and wine tastings enriched the four-day event. These additional activities provided attendees with valuable opportunities to network and learn.
