About this Edition
The Sweets & Snacks Expo 2023 took place from 22 to 25 May at McCormick Place in Chicago. This year marked the 26th edition of the esteemed trade fair for the confectionery and snack sectors. The event successfully gathered industry leaders, emerging startups, and retail professionals, with over 700 companies showcasing their latest products. Among these, more than 100 companies were featured in the event's Supplier Showcase.
Approximately 16,000 participants attended, eager to connect and discover the trends poised to influence the future of the chocolate, candy, and snacks market in the United States. The four-day trade show was a hub for beloved classics as well as new tastes and flavors. Startup Street was a highlight, presenting innovative ideas and products from snack and confectionery startups established within the last three years. The Most Innovative New Product Awards recognized exceptional candy and snack products across eleven categories.
